Total output of chemical pesticides in China reaches 314,000 tonnes in Nov. 2014

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the total output of chemical pesticides in China in Nov. 2014 was 314,000 tonnes, up by 2.6% compared with the same period in 2013. The cumulative output of chemical pesticide in China in Jan.-Nov. 2014 was 3.38 million tonnes, increasing by 1.7% YoY.

In Nov. 2014, the output of herbicides in China was 159,000 tonnes, down 11.5% YoY, accounting for 50.5% of the total output of chemical pesticide in China in the same period. The output of insecticides continued to decrease to approximately 48,000 tonnes, down 13.6% YoY while that of fungicides was 20,000 tonnes.
